You Are Not Forgotten

“You saw the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, And heard their cry by the Red Sea.”

Nehemiah 9:9

Parents develop an ear for the cries of their own children. They can distinguish their own child's cry from another child's cry. In the same way, our Heavenly Father is very familiar with the cries of His children.

The children of Israel were in affliction for over a hundred forty years in Egypt. They were beaten down and oppressed by the taskmaster of Egypt.

In all those years God never forgot his children and led them through the Red Sea to set the captives free. He heard their cry and answered at the right time.

God our Father hears our cries and our petitions. When you feel like you're backed in a corner and have no way out, look up! Let your requests be known to God. Cry out to Him! God will guard your heart, His Word will direct your steps, and His presence will give you peace.

Remember, when you are facing obstacles and hard times that God is with you. He hears you. You are not forgotten.
