Do you want to know God more? Have you ever wanted to read through the whole Bible and then just not been able to complete it? Ladies, we want to issue a Through the Bible in a year challenge to you!
We want to support not only reading but also understanding the Bible, so we are going to use The Bible Recap resources to summarize each day’s reading and help us see God in the text for the day. In just 20 minutes a day, or 2% of your day, you can read through and understand the entire Bible! If you aren’t a strong reader, you can even listen to it using option 1.

Choose the option below that works best for you! If you accept this challenge, please email womenofinsight@newvision.city with your name and which option you will be using. We’d like to email you encouragement throughout the year!
Option 1: Digital
- Download the Bible Youversion App. Click on this link to read in community with New Vision Women. This will allow you, if you choose, to comment and read other’s comments regarding the day’s reading in the group. You can select a version such as NLT or ESV that will read it to you if you prefer that.
- Subscribe to The Bible Recap podcast or YouTube channel. Available on YouTube | Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Podbean | Stitcher | Google | WayNation
- Read or listen to the Bible passages for each day in the Bible App (usually takes about 12 minutes) and then listen to that day’s podcast (usually takes about 8 minutes).
Option 2: Print only
- Order The Bible Recap book (There are various sizes to choose from. You only need to order one of them and not any other resources offered.) to follow along with your daily reading.
- This book will show you which passages to read first in your regular Bible. Read the passage first and then the two-page summary in The Bible Recap book.
Option 3: Print and Digital
- Print out the Bible Reading plan to follow along with in your printed Bible.

- Read the Bible passage for the day in your Bible (usually takes about 12 minutes) and then listen to that day’s podcast (usually takes about 8 minutes).
